X-Pro Passive Ear Protection

After the X-Pro is comfortably settled in your ear, you can activate the hearing protection with the push of a button. The closed valve will now protect your hearing by giving you 29 dB SNR with the foam tips (19 dB SNR with silicone tips). When you need to hear again, instead of completely removing the earplugs, simply press the button again to open the acoustic valve, allowing sound to pass through naturally.

  •  EASY CONTROL: PUSH BUTTON TO HEAR, PUSH AGAIN TO PROTECT.
  • 19dB SNR OPEN
  • 29dB SNR CLOSED
  • X-PRO PLUGS ARE MADE FROM SOFT, HYPOALLERGENIC MEDICAL GRADE POLYMER. LOW PROFILE DESIGN ALLOWS YOU TO KEEP THEM IN PLACE WHILE WEARING A MASK, HELMET, HAT, OR WHILE USING A PHONE, HEADPHONES OR SUPPLEMENTAL EAR MUFFS.
  • X-PRO PLUGS ARE WASHABLE AND REUSABLE TO HELP YOU AVOID THE HASSLE AND EXTRA EXPENSE OF CONSTANTLY HAVING TO REPLACE DISPOSABLE EARPLUGS.

*SNR or Single Number Rating is the EU's standard for  representing the attenuation of hearing protection. Like the NRR, or Noise Reduction Rating, used in North America, the SNR gives the user a rough estimate of the attenuation offered by the hearing protection device in question. While the two ratings are similar,  the procedure in which these ratings are achieved differs. There is no exact formula for conversion of SNR to NRR but SNR products tend to be rated roughly 3dB higher than their NRR rated counterparts.
